Angela Dixon is a PhD candidate in Sociology and Social Policy, with a concentration in demography. Her work focuses on race, ethnicity, skin color, and discrimination in the United States and Latin America. She uses cross-national comparisons to examine who perceives discrimination and the implications of discrimination on personal health and labor market outcomes. Angela earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a second major in Political Science.
