I am a sociologist studying inequalities in the lives vulnerable youth, particularly children of color and sexual minorities.

My dissertation uses new population-based data sources to study the educational experiences and outcomes of sexual minority youth. The first study from the dissertation has been published in Educational Researcher.

At Princeton, I am in my 5th year as a PhD Candidate in the Department of Sociology, with affiliations in the Office of Population Research and the Woodrow Wilson School. For 2017-18, I am an elected member of the Fellowship of Woodrow Wilson Scholars.

My research and training have been supported by a Marshall Scholarship, a Truman Scholarship, and fellowships from the American Education Research Association.
