Job: I am an assistant professor of sociology at the University of Arizona, as well as a research fellow at the Australian National University's Research School of Social Sciences. I've just completed a book, called "Last Best Gifts: Altruism and the Market for Human Blood and Organs", which will be published by the University of Chicago Press in the Spring of 2006.
