Bio/Description
Tiff is a first-year PhD student studying Sociology. She is from the Bay Area, California, and her academic background is in cognitive science, English, and computer science. Prior to Princeton, she graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Symbolic Systems, B.A. in English, and a M.S. in Computer Science. Her honors thesis examined unequal provision of educational accommodations by race and socioeconomic status. During a gap year from college, she worked in Research and Development at The New York Times and as a service navigator for adults with intellectual disabilities and their families. Broadly, her research interests are in education, social stratification, disability, and culture.
